South Australians should be proud of our public services. We should feel safe knowing they are operated safely and efficiently and honestly.
The Liberal Party believes the key to ensuring confidence in government is transparency.
To increase transparency and further promote confidence in government, we will embark upon widespread reform to Freedom of Information and whistleblower legislation.
These reforms will complement the establishment of an Independent Commission Against Corruption which will be charged with investigating corruption and educating the public sector.
It is time government in South Australia became more accountable, and the State Liberal Party will make sure this happens.
